Vector Team Spotlight – Jackson Calder
Meet Jackson Calder, a talented Project Manager at Vector Engineering with a strong background in civil engineering. Originally from Mapleton, Utah, Jackson earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from BYU and has been a key part of our team for the past six years.
Working out of our Orem, UT office, Jackson specializes in metal building foundation and sign design. His expertise have been instrumental in several high-profile projects, including the Detroit Tigers’ main display and the Oklahoma University Softball freestanding sign. Jackson’s ability to find creative and quick solutions under pressure has ensured the success of these complex projects.
“From a young age, I was inspired by my father and grandfather, both civil engineers. My journey has been a continuation of their legacy, and I love that my job allows me to keep learning and growing every day.”
-Jackson Calder
Outside of work, Jackson is passionate about soccer, golf, and hiking—he’s completed the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim hike seven years in a row and is gearing up for his eighth trek this year. He also enjoys backpacking with his cousins and cooking. For Jackson, the most important things in life are his religion, family, and friends, and he treasures the time spent with them, whether on the trail or around the dinner table.
We’re proud to have Jackson on our team and grateful for the dedication and expertise he brings to every project!
